Fly Fishing Camp 2025 in Fojnica – Completed!
The Youth Club Novi Val, within the regional initiative “Together for Rivers”, has successfully concluded this year’s Fly Fishing Camp held on the beautiful Dragači River in Fojnica. Days filled with friendship, fly fishing, learning, and love for rivers will remain an unforgettable memory for all participants.
The camp was an opportunity to connect young anglers, exchange experiences, gain new knowledge, and nurture friendships – all with the common goal of preserving our rivers and promoting fly fishing among younger generations.
We owe great gratitude to all participants and their parents for their support, to our instructors for their shared knowledge and patience, and to our partners and friends without whom this camp would not have been possible. Special thanks go to the Fojnica Fishing Association, its president Kemal Pamić, the fish warden service led by Džemil Berbić, and USR “Neretva 1933” for their selfless assistance and cooperation.
We also thank the media who follow us and share our story – together we spread the message that rivers are our greatest treasure.
These activities are part of the “Together for Rivers” initiative, aimed at protecting the rivers of Southeast Europe, carried out by Novi Val Blagaj in partnership with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and local partners in the region. The goal is to highlight and preserve the unique river treasures of our region and to create new development opportunities with long-term benefits for both people and nature.
