We extend our sincere gratitude to him for his support, generous advice, and continuous dedication to working with young fly anglers. Through his outstanding achievements, he serves as both an inspiration and a role model for the next generation of competitors.
The organizers also express their sincere appreciation to USR Busovača for their excellent organization, warm hospitality, and outstanding support in hosting the championship. Thanks to their commitment and hard work, the competition was conducted under excellent conditions and at a very high organizational standard.
The organizers emphasize that the development of youth fly fishing is of great importance for the future of recreational and competitive angling in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Investing in young competitors means investing in future national team members, as well as in new generations who, through their knowledge and respect for nature, will contribute to the preservation of the country’s rivers and fish populations.
Special recognition goes to USR “Neretva 1933” Mostar, which has consistently invested in the development of young anglers through professional coaching, education, regular training, and participation in competitions. The success of this long-term approach is reflected in the fact that, over the past four years, the club’s junior competitors have won more than 13 medals at fly fishing championships, proving that systematic work with young athletes truly pays off.
These achievements are not only the result of sporting talent but also of the dedication of coaches, the support of parents, and the commitment of fishing clubs that provide young anglers with the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential.
The organizers firmly believe that initiatives and competitions like this will help produce future national and European champions, while also inspiring new generations of young people to become true ambassadors of sport fishing and river conservation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Novi Val Youth Club Blagaj extends its sincere gratitude to all participating clubs—USR “Neretva 1933” Mostar, USR Busovača, UGSR Fojnica, and SRD Novi Travnik—for their fair play, sportsmanship, unity, and valuable contribution to the development of youth fly fishing in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
