Championship Trophies Arrive in Mostar at USR Neretva 1933

Last night, a special reception was held at the premises of the Sports Fishing Association “Neretva 1933” in Mostar, to celebrate the great success of the young competitors from the fly fishing school, who proudly brought home the championship trophies from the Junior Championship of the Federation, won in 2024 and 2025 in Busovača – Lašva River.

During the ceremony, the trophies were officially presented to the president of the association, Nećko Selimotić, and the members of the Management Board of USR “Neretva 1933”, as a symbol of shared success, dedicated effort, and the unwavering commitment of all those involved.

These trophies are not just awards – they are stories told through discipline, teamwork, tears, and smiles. Behind each success is a group of passionate youth who gave their all until the very last moment, coaches who never lost faith, parents who entrusted us with their children, and association members who stood by us unconditionally.

This activity was carried out as part of the regional campaign “United for Rivers”, which we implement in partnership with The Nature Conservancy and local partners.

The campaign aims to preserve and protect the rivers of Southeast Europe, with a special local focus on the Buna and Bunica rivers.

Together, we have proven that with love for nature, perseverance, and unity – results follow. These trophies are a victory for all of us!
