Enrollment in the Fly Fishing School

On Saturday, January 31, 2026, we successfully held the enrollment for the Fly Fishing School, organized by the Novi val Blagaj Youth Club, in partnership with USR Neretva 1933. A large number of children attended the event, which greatly pleased us and represents a strong incentive for the further development and growth of the school.

We are especially encouraged by the strong interest shown by young participants in fly fishing, spending time in nature, and learning about the protection of rivers and fish populations. Through the Fly Fishing School, children will have the opportunity to acquire basic fly-fishing knowledge and skills, while also developing a responsible attitude towards nature, rivers, and the environment.

We would like to thank all parents and children for their trust, as well as our partners for their support. We look forward to the start of the school and to future gatherings, learning experiences, and activities on the river in the coming period.

The “United for Rivers” initiative brings together seven partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia, who are jointly working to protect 13 rivers across the region.
Through cooperation with local communities, non-governmental organizations, and government institutions, our goal is to protect rivers, establish new protected areas, and prevent the loss of biodiversity.
