The idea of the Botanic Garden project was born during the implementation of the project “Educational exchange program on environmental issues for students in Mostar” financed by the German Embassy – Department of Culture. Teachers pointed that our Eco-Center had the ideal conditions for the construction of the Botanic garden that could be used by pupils of elementary schools in Mostar, faculty institutions and other educational institutions, as well as all the excursions of pupils coming to visit Mostar and Blagaj.
Our botanic garden has plant species such as: sage, lavender, immortelle, heather, rosemary, cranesbill, amaryllis, houseleek, hortensia, callistemon, pomegranate tree, cherry tree, lemon tree, mandarine tree etc …
