Save Rivers in BIH

On March 1st, to mark the International Day of Action for Rivers in Sarajevo, a mural made up of 300 planes symbolizing 300 planned mini hydro power plants in BiH will be formed on a Wilson boardwalk in a public space. With this action we want to send a message on the need to abolish the incentives for the construction of small hydropower plants in BiH. The money for these incentives comes from citizens who, through their monthly electricity bills, also pay for renewables.

There is a saying that those who control the water, control the life, and this artistic activist action aims to remind us that we are all pieces of a puzzle that allows the system to remain unchanged or give us the opportunity to start creating different images and narratives.
